Veggie Noodles Maker

With the gaining popularity of vegetable noodles, Department of Science and Technology (DOST) has commended an Abra native for making such a vegetable noodle.

It is known that noodles is one of the most preferred food to eat by many people since it is easy to prepare and cheap. But not all cheap foods are healthy.

And with this, DOST is looking for ways to make inexpensive, nutritious and healthy fast food.

DOST is providing training for the processing of these kinds of food. One of its beneficiaries is Arturo Talledo, an Abra native who first got the training.

Tallledo now owns Talledo Noodle House, which produces 175 kilos of noodles on regular days.

The noodles are different from ordinary noodles because it is made of squash and malunggay that contains calcium, vitamin C, potassium, iron, vitamin A, and protein.

Talledo could serve as an inspiration to others to try ordinary products and make it different from others. [via mb.com.ph]
