One’s consumption of acid-forming food causes cancer, heart diseases, diabetes and other lifestyle related diseases. We should learn to have a good diet and live in a clean environment. When we’re exposed to harmful substances, there is a risk of acquiring diseases and absorbing harmful acids. Fruits contain antioxidants that help fight heart diseases and cancer. Orange, lemon, tomato, and pineapple promote detoxification of our body.

Fruits also contain carbohydrates which are easily digested by the body. It can be a quick source of energy and can diminish the load of the heart. Vitamin C enriched fruits aid in the absorption of iron, prevention of scurvy, and the formation of the bone, teeth, skin and tissue. Fruits that are rich in potassium and sodium refill water in the body and increase urination. When we urinate toxins are flushed from our body. Fruits that are rich in Vitamin B and C are watermelon, honeydew, strawberries, pineapple, papaya, mangoes, and grapes. Fiber enriched fruit like pineapple prevents constipation.
