DOST provincial director for Leyte, John Glenn Ocaña said that his office is proposing additional funds to finance the expansion of Technology Business Incubator (TBI) in the next two years.
The office is seeking a total of P14.8-M coming from different bodies. The P9-M will come from DOST central office, while the Leyte Provincial government and the DOST regional office in Eastern Visayas have committed to contribute P4.5-M and P1.3-M, correspondingly.
The expansion is expected to attract more fledgling technopreneurs. [via GMANEWS.TV]
